I'm sorry to do this to you,, Melanie, but objects in low earth orbit, where the ISS and most satellites are, travel at about 17,000 miles per hour, not 7,000. Geostationary satellites, which are 23,000 miles out, travel at about 7,000.

Yikes, that was an unfortunate typo. Thanks for catching that! I have it in my draft as 17k, not sure if that was an autocorrect fail or just my fingers!
